Proposals will be received by the City of Santa Fe as the BDDB Support Entity and shall be delivered to the City of Santa Fe Purchasing Office, 2651 Siringo Road Building “H” Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505 until 2:00 P.M. local prevailing time, February 15, 2018. Any proposal received after this deadline will not be considered. This proposal is for the purpose of procuring the following:

Water Treatment Chemicals for the BDD Water Treatment Plant

The Buckman Direct Diversion (BDD) plant uses Liquid Oxygen in the treatment of water processing, and is seeking bids per specification listed in the bid document attached above.

Who is the City’s current Liquid Oxygen supplier?

  • Answer: The current supplier for the Buckman Water Treatment Plant is Matheson

What is the City’s current Liquid Oxygen price?

  • Answer: 0.7807/100cf

According to our records, the City still had extensions left on the previous contract.  Could the City share why the contract was not extended?

  • Answer: The Buckman Direct Diversion issued an RFB for all water treatment plant chemicals around May 5, 2017, however we received no bids for Liquid Oxygen, therefore we are reissuing the RFB for Liquid Oxygen.
