Design, construction and operation of the Buckman Direct Diversion (BDD) Project requires a number of agreements between local, state and federal government agencies. Some of the major intergovernmental agreements include:

2005 – Water Resources Agreement between the City of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County

2005 – State-Approved Joint Powers Agreement between the City of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County creating the BDD Board

2006 – Facility Operations and Procedures Agreement between the City of Santa Fe, Santa Fe County, and Las Campanas

2007 – Project Management and Fiscal Services Agreement between the BDD Board and the City of Santa Fe
